Bottle shared by Albert. Pours a clear, bright gold color, with a huge, rocky, white head. Butterscotch, resin, honey, white bread, and roasted corn. Sweet and grainy, with a mild bitterness. Light body, with a creamy, effervescent, and silky mouthfeel. This is an aromatic, and very mellow IPA.

Hazy amber with large white head. Aroma is canned peach slight coriander and curry and pine cone. Taste is less bitter than the average german ipa. Even some citrussy freshness. Bitter finish. Fruityness later. Not cloggy. Quite ok.

0.75 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before October 2019. Clear, dark amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-resiny aroma of mango, orange jam, some pine and a touch of grapefruit. Rather sweet, malty, slightly bitter, fruity-resiny taste of orange jam, pine, some mango and a touch of honey, followed by a medium long, rather dry-bitter, resiny and a bit herbal finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very solid IPA, pretty good for its price actually (€ 4.65 per l), I'd appreciate smaller bottles though. Wasn't easy to get a relatively fresh bottle by the way as they often spend several months or a year on the shelves in the local bottle shops.

Kornthal-Munchingen. Bottle courtesy of Michael, vielen dank! Hazy amber with white head. Sweet malts, orange peel, sweet orange tea, grassy and resiny hop. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Bit spicy due the higher abv. Decent. Could be fresher probably. --- Beer merged from original tick of Maisel & Friends Stefan's Indian Ale on 26 Dec 2017 at 10:53 - Score: 7. Original review text: 3.4
