750mL bottled on Feb 8, 2017 or 2018, can't tell. Drunk 1/15/23. Light amber, clear, small, off-white head quickly to cover. Smells like Bourgogne immediately while pouring. Super fruity, light Brett in the background, rather malty or is that just the fruitiness from the wine? Either way it's clean with no alcohol. A lot of wine, though. It smells great but it's rather dominant. Oh yeah, that's real nice in the mouth. Just the most chalk you never realized you wanted. So much wine character but not overdone on fruit or acid. Just pure mineral-soil-chalk character which sounds bizarre but I love it. Brett slowly mixing in, keeping things bright. Good acidity and moderate tartness. Feels forceful/intense at points, and to some extent it is, but there's a fantastic, malty, tannic texture balance with extremely tight, creamy carbonation. Comes together well with nothing dominant lingering.

75cl Fles van FoedersOnline, voor een whopping €1. Iets troebele amber kleur, witte kraag.
