You know by now how much we love our New Zealand hops and brewing hazy IPAs using them. Unsurprisingly we’ve brewed a soft, hazy pale blasted with fresh crop southern hemisphere hops and loaded up with chewy oats for a smooth texture. Featuring Motueka, Wai-iti, Nelson, Motuere, and Sticklebract hops this big-flavoured pale has all the tropical juiciness you could want but with the unique fresh, grassy, green and piney compliments of NZ hops. We certainly have our favourites when it comds to hops but this is our first beer using Sticklebract which has added a lovely drying citrus rind vibe which we think works great here in Taika. Bottoms up

White foamed head on a hazy pale golden coloured body. Bubble gum, mango & nectarine aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a soft back end. Melon, mango, zesty, sharp citrus & under ripe stone fruit tastes with a bitter pith finish. That's a good one.

Keg draught at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Light gold and hazy with a small white head and lacing down the glass. Gooseberry and melon aromawith white grapefruit and light notes of pine. Sweet taste at first with loads of citrus and light tropical fruit flavour but there's massive hop oil on the back end making the finish bitter, bitter, bitter. Thick body with little carbonation. Just right.
