Bottle from Ashby’s of Salcombe, Malborough. Golden and slightly haze, and quite active out of the bottle so produced a thick frothy head on my pour. This didn’t seem to affect its taste and it’s a smooth and hoppy brew with hints of tropical fruit, which are best in its nose. Has a good mouthfeel with a bit of a fizz involved.

Keg at the Barking Cat Ale House, Upper Parkstone, Poole. Dark golden, clear with a film of white head and some lacing. Low on aroma, a bit of citrus with a metallic edge. Improved taste with medicinal hoppy bittetness shot through, and a back-of-the-throat bitterness in the finish. Medium to heavy carbonation. Ok.

Bottle from Dartington Food Shop. Appearance - orange to amber with a slight haze. Nice fluffy white head. Nose - orange, pine and light cake. Taste - cakey biscuit again. Light resin. A bit of green grape coming in on the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture. Light dry roasty finish which brings good balance. Overall - good beer.

Well kept cask ale at Taproom - Tuckers Maltings, shared with Finn. Clear golden-brown body. Filmy layer, dotted spots on the glass. Herbal hops and floral nose. Taste of citrus, oily hops and earthy malts. Drying bittersweet tail. Velvety in the mouth. Good drinking (Newton Abbot 27.04.2017).

Bottle shared at the Chris & Ruth pre GBBF shindig tasting 2016 - London. Cheers! Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. Pale grains in the nose, touches of minerals, hay, tangerine rind. Light sweet flavour with more mineral presence, hay, more grains and ripening citrus. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with a little smokey off note, chalk, rind, pale grain. So so.

Bottle, courtesy of the man that is Totnes. Deep, orange gold. Light haze. Thin, messy, sticky, white head. Nose has spicy, floral, minty hop. Some peach stone. Peach juice. Hint of pine needle. Some toast and jam malts. It’s fairly subdued, but it’s all in there. Taste is fruity sweet, with a light, juicy bitterness. Soft and foamy mouthfeel. Little bit sticky on the lips. Finish gets a little sappy and earthy. This is a lovely, fruity, tasty number that took me totally by surprise. Never expected that...

Bottle split at Chris & Ruth’s pre GBBF Shindig, 07/08/16. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is bitter orange, light spruce, tangerine, straw. Taste comprises orange pith, light mineral strokes, tangerine, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok lightly hopped pale but low end for the style.
