Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Clear gold, small white head, good lacing. Taste of toasted grain, stone fruits, light medicinal to pine. Medium bodied, drying mouthfeel. All a bit average.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham on 13th December 2024. Golden amber with shallow white foam and partial lacing. Sweet malty aroma. Sweet, overripe fruits in-mouth with a sharp TCP line, lasting into a sharply pungent finish. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Odd.

Cask at Boar & Fable, Bradford. Pours clear gold with white foam. Aroma: vague citrus, floral hops. Clean taste, light to moderate sweet & bitter, not much of the promised Antipodean hop vibes. Light to medium body with soft carbonation

Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours golden yellow with a small off-white head and excellent lacing. Not much of an aroma – just some vague traces of floral hops. In the mouth, tropical fruits are the first to come to attention, but these are closely followed by spicy bitterness which becomes the mainstay. Flavour has floral hops, pineapple and lychee plus hints of biscuits and caramel, leading to a spicy finish. Not at all bad – but not very exciting.

Cask @ The Hebden (formerly The Pub), Hebden Bridge. Clear golden with a creamy head. The pump clip says pale ale but it's certainly more golden ale in design - but a decent clean tasting one.
