24/7/2025. Cask at The Dove Street Inn Summer Beer Festival 2025. Though this wasn’t on the list, it was hand-pull in the pub. Quite fruity but was a bit tired.

Cask at the Brew Tavern. Hazy amber colour with an off white head. Aroma and taste are malty and slight fruity. Medium body.

Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a small almost white head. Aroma is somewhat lacking – just hints of traditional hops and autumn fruits. In the mouth it is on the cusp between sweet and bitter with a creamy texture. Flavour is mainly traditional hops with an antiseptic tinge. After a while hints of spice, grains and mushy fruit come through as well, leading to a slightly dry finish. This is reasonable but not particularly exciting.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 9th February 2024. Dull hazy amber with virtually no foam or lace. Pungent aroma with hints of apple. Oversweet malts, sour apples and spices in-mouth, and a finish of overripened fruits. Light body and a flat mouthfeel. Was offered a replacement.

Cask @ Drink? Hebden Bridge. Mildly hazed dark amber with a creamy head. Bushy-floral with its bitterness, in both aroma and taste and is a drab for it.
