Often forgotten in today’s beer menus in favour of trendier beer styles, Mild is a beautifully humble, traditional beer style which earns its spot on any bar. The magic of mild is found in the balance between hops, malt and yeast. Each ingredient brings its own characterful flavours, but none are too overpowering. Wonderfully drinkable and keeps you coming back for more. Put your order in today for delivery before the bank holiday - those Sunday drinkers are going to absolutely love this one.

Gravity cask at the 2025 Rutland CAMRA Festival, the County Museum, Oakham. Light reddish brown, maybe a little bit of haze with a loose uneven ring of beige/khaki head. Heady chocolate malt in the nose with red berries. Tastes sweet, malty with lovely fruity hop followed by a notably bitter finish. More malt in the aftertaste. Body is thin with no carbonation. A very good mild.

On cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dry toasted caramel, a touch of English hops, and biscuity malt. Flavour is quite bitter, with lots of dry bready malt, a hint of bone dry caramel, and bitter hops that are a bit astringent. Pleasant enough despite the astringency.
