Hazy amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry and decent fine carbonation. Light malts, touch of cream,a little caramel in the background. Modest savoury yeast. Decent marmalade. Peach and mild tropical fruits. Pine. The savoury vibe returns before a light semi dry crisp finish. Initially underwhelming, the beer opens up and rewards patience with a nice range of flavours.

Keg at The Brauhaus, Edinburgh, Friday 18th March 2016 in the company of Dad and Barry. Cloudy gold in colour with a white head, Lovely nose, spicy and yeasty but with a little spritzy zing. Good flavoursome beer, I rather like the Belgian IPA idea. This is fruity, sweetish but with a good malty underbelly. Really nice. A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov16 3.8

On keg at the Brauhaus. Appearance - golden amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - dried orange and plenty of resin. Taste - burnt orange, light lime at the back. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - tasty beer.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Murky golden body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of orange peel, red apple and brown bread. Flavour of caramel, tangerine, peach and a boozy, fruity finish. Medium body with a frothy texture. Soft fizz. A bit sweeter than expected, but a solid DIPA.
