Bottle 330ml. @ [ chriso & Boudicca's pre- GBBF Shindig 2016 ] - Chris and Ruth's House, London. [ As Wild Beer Amuse Gooseberry ].Clear light to medium yellow colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, tart, grape, apple, wine, sour, wood, gooseberry. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, sour, wine, apple. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160806] 7-3-7-3-15

On tap @ What’s Brewing, Stavanger. Pours yellow, with a tiny, creamy head. Aroma is sour, with gooseberries, currants and rhubarb, as well as bretty wood and floral notes. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is sour, with gooseberries, currants and citrus peel, as well as bretty wood and floral notes. Lingering fruity tartness in the finish.

Small slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is sour-ish dry, sorrel, mild vinegar, rubber, bark, minerals, unripe berries, grass, gooseberries paper. Taste is sour-ish dry, sorrel, soda powder, unripe berries, mild vinegar, rubber, minerals, grass, citrus acid, gooseberries. Medium bitterness, slightly sour-ish dry mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle split at Chris & Ruth’s pre GBBF Shindig, 07/08/16. Hazed orange blonde with a moderate off white covering. Nose is green berry snap, straw, funky notes, fruit esters. Taste comprises pissy citrics, lactic tang, funky gooseberries, green berry yoghurt, light must. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tangy close with a moderate acidic zing. Decent easy drinking sour.

Bottle shared at the chriso and Ruth pre GBBF Shindig 2016 - London. Day 1. Pours clear yellow. Notes of lemon peel, light funk, touches of vinegar. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with subtle grassy notes, lemony acidity. Decent beer.

Keg at brewdog Shepherd bush. A mostly clear pale yellow straw coloured pout with a fine white head. Aroma is really dirty funky sour, grape and wood, baby diaper, sweat. Flavour is composed of semi sweet and sour tangy pithy lemon, funky dry underripe berries, fruit tannin. Little burning sour in the finish. Palate is semi sweet and sour tangy, moderate carbonation. Uber dry finish. Good stuff.
