Cask at Oxford Foodies Fest. Far too warm, bordering on tepid - but I guess that's the danger of having cask from an outdoor stall on a scorcher of a day. Slightly hazy yellow gold with a white head. A bit thin, but a pleasant frothy mouthfeel. Peach, orange, pink grapefruit and pine. Quite fresh leafy hops in the moderately bitter finish. Ok, but I'm just a bit bored of hoppy pales these days.

Bottle at home on 31st December 2017, received as a festive gift. Pours gold with thin white foam and almost no lacing. Rich, fruity hoppiness in aroma. Burst of citrus and tropical fruits in-mouth followed by a crisp, tangy fruity finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a light body. Exquisite.

Bottle at home from M&S while preparing dinner. It poured into the tankard with a lovely pillowy head that quickly subsided to give a fragrant aroma of citrus hops. The flavour was all about those hops with a citrus and slightly sharp tang, pine and a hint of balancing bitterness. The mouthfeel was soft and the beer slipped down a treat. I was impressed by the range and strength of flavours from what is a lower abv beer. Then it was time to move on to the mature claret and cotes du rhone to go with the sausages.
