What makes this unfiltered Rye IPA memorable is it’s incredibly unique flavor. It delivers citrus, apricot and grapefruit, created from the Barrelhouse Brewing award winning blend of Sorachi Ace, Centennial and Chinook hops; balanced with a spicy finish only rye can deliver. They brewed long and hard to deliver something special among a sea of mediocre beers.

Light amber with a thin, even head. Mellow aroma. On the palate, there’s a light bitterness, some hoppy fruitiness and florals, indistinct but enjoyable, and a fairly pronounced rye character. Nice.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy bronze / copper with a small off-white head. Nose is quite light but pleasant, with notes of citrus, light tropical fruits, and earthy malt. Flavour is quite dominated by the rye, with earthy malt, citrus hops, and spicy rye. Very flavourful for a pale ale. The use of rye is quite well done. Good stuff.

Draught at Darby’s Public House, Vancouver
Clean light amber color, compact head. Nice citrusy hopping throughout this beer, quite good job with the malts too, although there is an impression of butter. Light residual sweetness. Balanced.
Very good.

From bottle to glass. Citrus dominates with a moderate spice support. Pours a golden amber, is clear and supports a white head that remains long as a full collar and a dusting across the top. Taste of citrus, lemon and spice with a semi-dry finish. This is tasty.

Draft - Lemongrass and a bit of lemon pledge. Clear gold with a small but rich white head. Bitter lemongrass and a bit of spice. Ginger and bitterness prevail with a very dry finish. Unique and would pair so well with Asian foods.
