[ As Mad Hatter / Wild Weather Lightning Sombrero ].
ABV: 8.5%. Hazy light to medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, citrus, orange, gooseberry, leather. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, funky, leather, orange, citrus, grass, gooseberry, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180126]

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Super murky, medium gold, absolutely packed with floaty lumps. Looks like minestrone soup. Thin, white head. Horrible looking beer, but then Wild Weather had a hand in this, so itโs no big surprise. Nose has ripe citrus. White gooseberry. Some peach and nectarine. Light, spicy malts barely get a look in. Taste is slightly tart, tangy, and crisp bitter. Fairly dry. Crisp and slightly tart on the palate. Bright carbonation. Weirdly sweet finish. Doesnโt come together too well, for me.

Almost clear gold beer, thin white head. Slightly soft palate, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts. Light pine and mild soft hop skunk. These hop characteristics blend well with the punchy gooseberry. Smooth finish. Nice!
