On tap at Hofbrauhaus. Hazy light brown with big off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, medium body, medium carbonation, and small-bubble lacing. Taste is chocolate, banana, and dark malt. Quit nice.

A nice offering and my first beer from the Newport Hofbrauhaus. Poured cloudy orange-brown with a nice off-white head. Aroma and flavor were rather one-dimensional with the classic banana/clove hefeweizen yeast combination. Although this wasn't the most complex beer, I found it very drinkable and smooth.

This is an interesting seasonal from Hofbrauhaus. Cloudy orange color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is a little fruity and a little wheaty. I am not that familiar with the DunkelWeizen style but the flavor was a mixture of malt, cider, banana and caramel. Smooth and mostly drinkable but lopsided. I would go back to the Dunkel next time.
