75cl bottle; BBD Dec 2018. Shared between five at the 30th Jan 2018 meeting of the Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group (in Chez Sophie). Black bodied, tan topping. The nose had marzipan, pear drops and paint stripper within it's aromas. The taste dropped the paint stripper for coconuts, coffee, almonds and cherries (thank goodness). Liked it.

Keg at the Port Street Beer House, Manchester. Labelled as 'Cherry Bourbon Stout'. Black pour with a tan head. Rich aromas of black cherry, coconut, dark chocolate, dark fruits, light bourbon. Flavours of blackberry jam, more black cherry, coffee, raspberry ruffles (a plain chocolate pick "n' mix sweet from Woolworths back in the day), coconut. So much going on in here. Lots of spicy, warm alcohol in the finish. Very impressed with this. Beautiful beer!
