Yokai is a delightfully balanced blend of bright Yuzu citrus, umami from the seaweed and gentle spice from Sichuan peppercorns. It takes inspiration from Yadokai, our infamous sake-inspired 13% beer.

7up maar dan minder zoet, bijna tonic. Sichuan peper, zonder scherp op de tong te zijn. Grote bubbel. Interessant, maar niet top

Tap at Unorthodox. The special ingredients all coming through lightly, mixing in a weird complete picture. The base beer is relatively clean and inobtrusive. Slightly salty. Thin body. Med carbo. Rather interesting than good.

Can. Aroma of sherbety yuzu, old lemons, slightly tangy wheat. Smells refreshing. Light bodied, fizzy. I like the yuzu, the salt and the Sichaun pepper but the seaweed is too green and vegie-like. But it is very refreshing and original without seeming like a novelty.
