Tap at St. Francis. Deep ruby burgundy brown body, filtered. Steady beige head. Sweet, nutty, pleasant aroma. I typically enjoy Imperial Brown Ales, and this is no exception. Creamy and relatively easy drinking for the ABV. The coconut adds some nice depth, merging with the caramel brown sugar sweetness of the malts. Almost has an oaky touch. Nice to have a big brown ale that hasn’t been stripped by barrel aging. Well done.
