On tap at Pies and Pints Charleston. Pours black with small dark brown highlights and small light brown head. Medium body and aroma is coffee. Taste is coffee, sweetness in the finish with a hint of raspberry. A little more raspberry would have been fine for me.

Draft at Pies & Pints Charleston. Pours a dark brown color with a thin dark brown head. Decent head retention. Aroma of big chocolate notes, mild berries and roasted malts. The taste is bitter roasted malts, chocolate, mild berry notes. Thin-medium bodied. So many times, berry flavored beers hit you over the top with artificial fruit notes. This one doesn’t do that, and instead uses the raspberries well and an accent to the beer. Nicely done.
