Appalachian Wild Ale brewed with local barley and local raw wheat. Boiled with burlap-aged hops. Fermented with our mixed house cultured in stainless steel. Transferred into oak for 4-6 months of aging. Transferred out of oak onto a massive amount of local blackberries from the harvest of July of 2018. Fermented and aged on the berries for 3-4 months and transferred back into red wine barrels. Matured in the wine barrels for an additional 6 months. 12-15 months old at time of bottling. Conditioned naturally inside the bottle and keg. Blackberries were grown at River Ridge Organics of Grayson County, Virginia and were harvested in the summer of 2018. The absurd level of fruiting, paired with an extra long maturation time allowed 2018/2019

Draught @ MBCC '17 [ Green Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Copenhagen Celebration 2017, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark. [ As Fonta Flora Snug Glove ].Clear medium to dark red colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to pink head. Aroma is moderate malty, tart, cherry, almond, red berries - black berries ala blackberry, citric. Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic with a average duration, almond, cherry, cherry tart, red berries ala blackberry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Draught @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017 - Green Session
Pours hazy dark red with a pink head. Aroma has notes of malt, berry, citrus, tart and funk. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium sour with a long dry, berry, tart and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Fat på MBCC 2017. Smak och doft av blåbär, körsbär, körsbärskärnor med toner av halm och blött hö. Frisk, fina syrliga toner, torr, lagom sötma, fin beska. Gott!.

Backlog. Slightly unclear dark red. Malty with loads of blackberries, some tart lemon. Acidic with some wood, funk and berries. Very good.
