Keg at the brewery. Black, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of sweet roast, lactose, coffee, raisin. Taste is roast, raisin, lactose, coffee. Medium bodied.

Pours nearly black. Coffee black, maybe. Medium light brown head, fairly fizzy. The aroma is big on lactose and milk chocolate. Way too much lactose. There’s a pretty strong cola flavor, as well. A light tinny note. Lots of brown sugar. Taste is very sweet. Lots of lactose. It’s like lactose with some roasted malt. Not good. More roast than chocolate. It’s a bit harsh in the finish, which is weird against all of the sweetness of the beer and doesn’t really help at all. The feel is a touch slick with a light to medium body. I just don’t care for this beer. Frankly, it seems like a mess to me.

Bottle shared by nuplastik. Thanks. Decent brew. Super sweet with milk chocolate, a little roasty coffee and fake vanilla. Meh, a little sweet for my style.

22oz bomber. Brown black body, oily head. Brutally sweet, doesn’t really capture the style. Tastes like they dumped a pound of brown sugar in the barrel. In line with the other Black Husky beers I’ve had, overly sweet and amateurish.
