Black of course with a thick head. It has a palate like a stout, thick and heavy. It has a fair amount of hops, but also a thick, rich palate. I am not sure about the style designation, but it is a solid beer.

12oz bottle-thin foamy tan-black. A-licorice/roasty-dk malt. T-roasty dk malt, earthy hops.

Thanks to GhostFace for this one. 12oz bottle pours up a dark body supporting a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up roasted malts to burnt malts to some earthy malts too. The taste is similar with dark roasted malts to burnt malts followed by a mild level of spicy to earthy hops. Those notes pick up the addition of a sense of earthy malts into the finish. This is nice and highly roasty with fairly thin body.

12oz bottle. Pours a deep brown-black, massive soapy fading beige head. While it does have those classic oily Black IPA tones, this one seems like it just doesn’t come together that well. A touch of a watery mouthfeel, lots of mossy roasted malt tones. Some biting bitterness holds it all together, but this one sort of screams "rush job". Not bad, just not that good either.
