A hazed blonde ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, rather grainy malt with grassy hops, like it was made for a kit. In mouth, a grainy malt with light British hops, so-so. On tap at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 19 2012.

Sampled at the brewpub. Pours a near clear very pale gold with a white head that dissipates very slowly to the edges and laces thickly. Aroma has a nice hop profile of citrus and pine with a bit of backing sweet grain. Flavor starts with a grassy hop note and then finishes with a bit of pine and a strong sweet grain backbone.

Draft at GT. Hazy orange-yellow-tan. Thick white head. Fresh citrus laced respectable aroma. A really solid, fresh APA. Really captures the style well. Earthy, toffee tones. Medium bodied, all around pleasant. Some light flowery tones. Nails the style, while remaining sessionable. Leans toward citrus hops, but well balanced. Nice, but forgettable.

Enjoyed on tap as part of a sampler at the Grumpy Troll in Mt. Horeb, WI. Appearance is a cloudy light gold, thin white head, looks kind of like pineapple juice. Aroma of light citrus, bit of yeast, doesn’t really smell hoppy. Taste is not too hoppy but also the malt gives it a slight crispness, straw hay as well, half way through figured out it wasn’t an ipa. Light but decent.
