Very pale, light gold pour, with a small white head. Zesty aroma, herbal hops, hints of lemon. Malts are frisp and clean, solid cereals, but a tad thin. Low bitterness, solid beer.

On tap at Kichesippi, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp biscuity malt and herbaceous notes. Flavour is crisp, with grass, herbaceous notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Has decent bite to it and a good herbaceous quality. Very solid.

Crispy cereals on notes of fresh bread and matched with herbaceous hops give us a rather standard olfactory for style. A clear and ultra-sparkling golden liquid is covered with a rocky foam that persists well. Taste is dry cereals with a softly herbaceous and subtly bitter finish. Notes of grain without harshness with almost no sugar in the balance. The body is soft and round, the gasification ample and the finish very dry. Quite standard, well made, meeting most of the criteria of the style but lacks sweet honeyed notes. O:7.677 V:4.0 G:7.533 C:4.708 O:15.25 T:39.512

Can from RCSS. Hazy pale yellow with a tiny white head that fades quickly to a sheet. Nose is light caramel malts and honey with some floral and grassy notes. Moderate fruity sweetness with just a slight lemony bitterness as well as a touch of pepper.Mouth is medium- and a bit chewy with slightly soft carbonation. 6+/3/7/3+/13

Can: Poured a pale yellow color Helles with a medium size white head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of unrefined grainy malt with light cereal notes. Taste is also dominated by cereal notes with unrefined grainy notes. Light butter and herbal notes can also be detected. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Malt bill is not clean enough for my taste.

On tap at the Ottawa Beerfest. It pours a crystal clear light gold. An earthy bready aroma with some soft hop notes. Medium bodied, bready earthy, crisp finish, solid malts and light hops. A top knotch lager. This hit the spot & provided a welcome break from all the hoppy beers. A clean well-made lager.

Not a bad session beer to drain by the pitcher, but not the best detox breaker either. Pours amber with decent head and lacing. Some caramelized malt and a light sweet finish. Anyway one harmless put,her isn’t enough to end my detox. Tap at mugshots.

Enjoyed at the National Capital Craft Beer Week. Pours a clean pale blond colour with a decent white head that stays and create creamy lacing. Big grainy nose with soapy notes from the hop. Good blend of wet and dry mouthfeel. Again, nice full grain taste with minimal hops. An overall nice grainy brew.

A golden pilsner with a thin white head. In aroma, a nice grainy malt with light German hops, some light chalkiness. In mouth, a smooth crisp grainy malt with light herbal German hops, chalky notes, not bad. On tap at Wellington Gastropub, Jun 19 2012.
