3 May 2020. Anke's Secret Birthday Tasting avec Pieter. Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Pours hazy orange with a lasting, unstable, frothy, white head; some sediment. Aroma of pine, biscuit, peanut, ripe orange & mango, herbs, medicin. Taste has sweetish orange, mango & peach over bitter pine & medicinal notes, a tad yeasty with biscuity malts. Dry, resinous hoppy finish, lingering dank fruit & pine. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Nice classic IPA with that little extra 'oomph'.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of spices, yeast, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, spices, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Can, 6.8%. Good fruity aroma, has malt and orange. Cloudy golden colour. Big stable frothy white head. The flavour is like the aroma, malty with orange citrus notes. Also has cream, vanilla, and a distinct, clean bitterness. 737316 Draught at Beershoppen. Much more grassy than last time. 636315

16oz can out of Waunakee. Some decent hop tone, but the body is sugary, sweet, not really where anyone wants it in 2020. Drinks like an old school 8.5% IIPA, really heavy. Like most Octopi beer, captures some flavor elements but fails in body and backbone.

Tap @ Bakgården. Slightly unclear golden body with a small, but perfectly lacing white head. Nice aroma of malt, citric fruit, ripe tropical fruit, hint of pine and a bit floral. Taste is nice and balanced with a fine malt base behind a complex fruity hop taste. Fine body and nice fruity bitter aftertaste. Nice rather classic IPA.

Pours bit unclear blonde, medium white head, very stable. Smell is full, pine, intense, hoppy, milder malts. Taste is full, intense, pine, bitter. Nice west coast IPA !

Pretty good, this. Decent fruity hit up front and balanced out with good and a nice, bittersweet finish.

4oz on tap at cornerhouse 15. Thin white head. Hazy golden pour. Lovely bitterness. Very good.
