Sample @ MBCC2017. Pours dark brown with a small offwhite head. Aromas of dark fruits, oak, burned wood, chocolate, caramel. Taste of chocolate, caramel, burned wood, vanilla, booze, dark fruits.

Draught @ MBCC '17 [ Green Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Copenhagen Celebration 2017, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark. [ As Voodoo Tenacious Wee (Woodford Reserve Bourbon Barrels) ].Clear dark black colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, wheat, tart, wood, vinegar - aceton - alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, vinegar - aceton - alcohol, tart, wood - oak, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Fat på MBCC 2017. Smak och doft av karamell, lönnsirap, hostmedicin, Läkerol Original med bourbon. Stor kropp och sötma, spretig då alkoholen slår igenom något. Fin maltsötma, rund och len, fin beska.

Draught @ MBCC 2017. Pours very dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, wood, vanilla chocolate, bourbon. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, vanilla, wood, bourbon, little alcohol. Medium to full body, light oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 130517

22oz bottle thanks to Steve. Pours out dark brown almost black with a ring of a head tan head. Nose is big sweet malts barrel pit fruit and bourbon barrel vanilla. Taste is more of the rich malts pit fruit booze barrel vanilla.

Backlog. Dark brown with no head. Malty, with caramel, some dark fruit, bourbon and booze. A bit to boozy for me.

Tap@MBCC May 2017, Copenhagen - dark brown coloured pour with beige head. Sweet and toasted malty, lots of prominent caramel sweetness, charred brown sugar, dried fruity notes, some spices, resonating bourbon soaked wooden notes and vanilla accents into the close.

MBCC. Very dark brown with tiny head. Aroma is malt, yeast, dark fruit, wood, oak and bourbon. Flavour is malt, dark fruit, wood, bourbon, sweet, oak, little vanilla, notes of alcohol and warming.
