Quorum is our nod to the classic abbey brown ales of Belgium. We've added our own signature to the style by infusing organic cacao nibs and green cardamom to compliment the character of the Belgian malts and our house Belgian yeast. Aromatic, refreshing, and moreish.

On tap at Haandgemeng. A hazy brown to amber colored beer with a nice-looking off-white head. Lacing. The aroma has some caramel and fruityness, with roasted malt hints in the back. It's full-bodied, nicely carbonated and rather dry on the palate, smooth, with a quite mellow flavor too. Roasted malts, caramel, some fresh fruit, a touch of spiced yeast and some cellar notes in the flavor. Medium length finish. Feels a bit fruity-sour this one, but it's a fine brew. 171027

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, dark chestnut colour with small to average, frothy, fading, off-white to beige head. Floral, herbal, fruity and dark malty aroma, notes of herbal liqueur, herbal lozenge, hints of malt lozenge, toffee, lavender, some cardamom. Taste is herbal spicy and nutty malty, soapy herbal notes of lavender, cardamom, some toffee, malt lozenge, a touch of cocoa. Disharmonious, unbalanced, overspiced.

Lightly sweet finish, more brown bread, toasted caramel, minimal bitterness, dried berries, more citrus peel and wintery spices. Enjoyable.

On tap at Zagreb Beer Week 2017. Hazy amber, small off-white head. Spices present in the aroma: cardamom, cinnamon, cocoa. Toasty and roasty. Slightly yeasty. Toasty flavours with complements of cocoa and cinnamon. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, lightly spicy finish. They got what they were hoping for.

Bottle from Inn At Home, Guildford. Very sweet aroma - canned fruit and spices - the cardamom makes itself known. Ruby tinged brown. Healthy frothy off-white head. Light sour, followed by a waive of light sweetness. A cross between a spiced wine and Vimto. Light bodied and thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long finish. Astringent aftertaste. Not too bad, if I was being completely uncharitable I'd class it as boozy Vimto.
