Coalescence is inspired by Belgian farmhouse ales. Rustic and dry beers that have been brewed in the Wallonian countryside for generations. Our take on the style is brewed with spelt malt for a wheaty nuttiness and lightly spiced to add extra aromatic dimensions and complexity.

Keg at The Rake. It pours hazy golden with a sturdy white head. The aroma is rich spiced character, barnyard, light manure, cereal, toasty grain, peanutut, wood, bread and earth. The taste is crisp, bitter, straw, cereal, cracker, quite spicy, pepper, green, herbal, citrus rind, pear skin, apple and toasty nut with a dry, spiced finish. Medium body and high, foamy carbonation. Comes across pretty rustic and traditional. Good fun.
