33 cL bottle, trade with DerDobbelbock. Pours clear and golden deep orange to brown. Dense light tan head. Spiced aroma, light malty. Dry and acidic malt flavour. Somewhat dusty and lending towards a dry cardboard note. Acidic and bitter finish with a distinct yet subdued spice note.

Botted (thanks DerDoppelbock!). Amber colour, beige head. Aroma is malty, earthy and slightly caramellish. Flavour is semisweet malts along with big time hops. Aftertaste is kind of caramel mixed with appleish sourness and grass.

Bottle, thanks to Derdoppelbock. Choc brown colour, beige head. Toffeeish biscuity/yeast/stale candy sugar. Not sour enough. I like it sourer. Bit too sweet. OK on end. Bit dull, but some dryness.

Bottle: Amber coloured, thin off-white head, quickly diminishing; slightly sweetish malty nose with a tinge of molasses and some faint fruitiness (and traces of roasted malt ?); faint sweetish malty flavour with a metallic tinge, rather thin bodied; slightly fruity and malty finish, a touch of bitterness in the aftertaste. Drinkable, but not impressive at all...................

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark golden with a decent head. Aroma of caramel - perhaps even cinnamon. Malty with a light bitterness. Dry and not very full-bodied, actually a bit watery. But highly drinkable. 120300

Clear orange color, medium off-white rocky head. Aroma is malty and hoppy, typical of an altbier. Sweet malty taste, bitter. Quite typical altbier, one of the better german styles.

Malzig-herber, leider auch trockener Antrunk. Die Malzaromen sind gelungen, werden aber immer wieder von der Trockenheit unterbrochen. Herb, trocken, daher oft unausgewogen. Trinkbares Altbier. 6/7/7/6/5/6
