Smell of hops. Black colour, dark brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, hops, herbs, ash, a faint of metal. A barbed hoppiness. Very bitter. Medium strong carbon. Dry ashy palate.

500ml can from Prisma. Okay, slightly roasty and grassy hoppy black IPA with some piney and herbal notes.

Clear, deep dark brown beer with a big and long lasting head. Nice looking beer. Aroma is grape and roasted. Taste is roasted and nicely grape. Long lasting end is bitter grape and also some hints of chocolate can be found. Very nice!

(Can, 0.5 l, 20161007) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts and liquorice. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, ash, liquorice, burnt malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had hops, burntness and bitterness. The hoppiness was too mild and the burnt components were too dominating. Despite the flaws a bold one from a macro brewery.

Can 500ml
Dark brown color, good brownish head, some lace. Grassy, some toasted notes. More fruity than roasted. Light-bodied. Toasted malty, sweetish, grassy hoppy. Lingering fruity bitterness in the aftertaste. Easy going and with 4.7% not really "black IPA". More like American style dark ale.

50cl can. Pours deep brown, not quite black, but close enough. Thin, off white head. Roasted malty aroma with a hint of vanilla/chocolate cookies, some citrus fruity hops. Flavor has roastedness, hops, citrusy notes, cocoa and hint of licorice. Light body, but delivers. Good work. Looking forward to a stronger version.

A very dark brown beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has grapefruits and some tropical fruitness, some roastiness of liquirice, hint of popcorn. Good but mild aroma. Taste has roastiness, some liquirice and grapefruits. Bitterness is quite mild but enough, anyway. Quite light bodied, more strenght would be nice but OK even now. Good beer again from Olvi.
