Can. Deep golden colour with a small white foamy head, which leaves slight lace. Aroma is grass, some tropical fruits and mild citrusy tones. Flavour is tropical fruits, citrus, some crisp malts and mild caramel to it.

Slightly unclear medium golden colour, tall frothy white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma pale malt, lemon, pine, grass, fruity hops. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, citrusy, fruity notes. Bittersweet aftertaste, orange pith, pine resin. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, indeed a bitter, hoppy lager, nice.

Draft. An unclear yellow beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, yeast, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, spices, yeast, and malt, leading to a very bitter finish.

Can from Boxbeers as Spike Pils Modernum. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - grass and citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 210518

Deep golden colour, small steady off-white head and lace. Grainy-grassy nose has some tropical fruityness. Light-bodied. Snappy bitterness, some fruityness then in the finish pils grainyness. Ok ISL which has some traditional pils character also.

Draught @ Scandwich. The malt is a bit too grainy and the citrusy hops somewhat missplaced. Not a very good pils.
