Half-pint, cask ale, shared with Finn at Brinkburn Street Brewery. Crocheted lacing from a film-type layer, deep ruby-black body. Slightly roasted mid-sweet malt driven aromas, inviting. Taste fine with caramel-chocolate moments. Prolonged ending, smoothly roasted. Nice. (Byker - Newcastle upon Tyne, 20.03.2024).

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Chestnut brown colour, thin foam rim and aroma of malt, caramel, fruity & roasty. Taste is malty, caramel, roasted, woody, vanilla, with some light bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, roasty bitter finish. Quite OK

Deep dark brown with a decent beige head. Chocolate and some hazelnut notes. Light chocolate and a nutty finish. Quite solid for the style. An almost spicy not in the finish.
