An intensely hoppy, clean, but full bodied American style DIPA. The balance of malty sweetness, fruity aromas and hop driven bitterness make for a very drinkable beer.

Bottle from Cloudwater online shop. Hazy amber body with an off-white head that holds well. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of marmalade and toffee. Flavour of orange jelly and tangy apricot. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. This is raw and hoppy. It reminded me of The Cone by Top Out.

Bottle at home, from Cloudwater online, 19/04/20. Hazed deep amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is sweet malts, candied orange peel, sugars, mellow hops. Taste comprises sweet caramel laden malts, orange peel, light minerality, toasted grains, residual sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with moderate hop bitterness. Poor old skool leaning DIPA ... not undrinkable but overly sweet and flabby.

Keg, third at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Fair white head over an unclear orange coloured body. Dotted spots on the glass. Inviting smell of ripe orange and pineapple. Succulent taste profile, moments of orange and grapefruit. Prolonged ending. Well bodied. Likable. (22.01.2020).

Bottle. Surprised to find not rated. Nose is a little muted. Tropical malt. Taste is pine, tropical, resin, grapefruit, hint of mango. Pleasing sticky feel with a lasting bitter finish. There’s nothing flashy about this beer Which is balanced and pleasingly drinkable.

Hazy amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light, smooth and has decent minerally carbonation. Smooth malts, mildly sweet, thin malt cream and mild tangy caramel. Light pine and modest orange peel. Trace of fresh orange. Light finish. Simple stuff but fairly drinkable.
