Аромат достаточно крепкий, много изюма и дерева, слива как будто, немного шоколада, намеки на сладость от коньяка. Цвет черный пенки нету. Тело сразу с первого глотка очень маслянистое, снова дерево, немного изюма и сливы, шоколад есть но не особо сладкий. Послевкусие с алкоголем. Такой стаут в старом формате, в принципе можно выпить в баре в конце, но на раз.

Crowler from. BrewDog Inverurie. It pours like motor oil darkest brown to black with a small, but sturdy brown head. The aroma is sweet and intoxicating, dark roasted malt, chocolate ice cream, toasted nut, praline, vanilla coffee, tiramisu, touch of umami and reisen chocolate chew. The taste is slick, oily, thick, unctuous, oily, chocolate cake batter, chocolate ice cream, dark roasted malt, coffee grounds, coffee cake, rocky road, vanilla fudge, warming booze, walnut, praline, fulsome and mouth coating chocolate with a dry, toasty finale. Full body, fine carbonation and slick mouth feel. Strikes a nice balance actually. Not too sweet. Nice indulgent number.

On tap at BrewDog Soho, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out gentle roast, burnt dark fruits, and burnt sugars. Flavour is just bizarre, with medium roast, boozy sugars, dark fruits. Very messy and poorly calibrated. Incompetent.

Keg at BD Clerkenwell, 05/09/23. Black with a khaki cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is rich roast, coffee, molasses, toasted brown sugars, charr. Taste comprises toffee fudge, light coffee notes, charr, roast malts, dried fruit rinds, spice. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of warming alcohol. Decent well balanced straight up impy stout.

Keg at Brewdog Shepherds Bush, London. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, dark fruit, plum taste and aroma. Slight sourness to this, decent enough imperial stout.
