From a bottle at the Ratebeer Dec 20 gathering 2015. It is a clear light amber color with a slight head. The aroma is a caramel aroma and the taste is flat and no specific flavor

Bottle at the DC December Gathering #2. Thanks solidfunk. Clear golden amber with off-white head. Aromas of malt, caramel. Tastes of citrus, floral, malt, sweet syrup. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

I was just complaining about never finding Ontario beers in the U.S. and lo and behold I find this crap on the shelf. Why the hell is this the only beer I can find here. Blame Moosehead for this. Crappy corn flavor. Terrible paint thinner finish. I’m only glad to share this so the burning of this crap continues. Bottle from Perfect Pour.

Bottle at West Coast Brew Fest 2014. Pours copper with a beige head. Roast malt with citrus for aroma. Med body. Flavor is like aroma. Finishes towards dry and bitter, but doesn’t quite get there.

12oz bottle pours a murky burnt, Texas orange with some frothy white head. Nose has a lot of citrus peel, some clear malt, a little bread crumb, some honey, a little corn, orange, lemon. Flavor has a strong citrus peel bitterness, some cardboard but not bad, some weak pine, soggy bread, stale cracker. Clean finish. More of an English take on a pale ale, and not superb, but not offensive either.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark orange-toffee color with a small foamy orange-tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy and citric with an underlying sweet and tart presence. The flavor was tart, tangy and chalky with a lemony note. Medium length finish. Light to medium body. Meh.

Bottle. Light caramel malt aroma. Clear copper with a large yellowed ivory head. Caramel malt and metallic herbal hops flavor. Medium body, average carbonation.

Looks fairly thick from a bottle. Slightly darker than pale ale, almost a little orange. Smell is somewhat old lager aroma. Strong bitter beverage from the start, even a little astringent. Not clean hops bitter, something else. Yes, bitter backbone on this, almost like chewing on plastic er sumthin. Does seem to have a higher abv than what is listed here. Yes, way too much sharp bitter personality for this lager lover. Long bitter astringent finish in the back of yer throat does not leave for a while. Not impressed.
