Cask at the Lyric soho. It pours clear amber with a decent white head. The nose is earth, wood, biscuit and dull citrus. The taste is bitter, grapefruit, lemon peel, light caramel, biscuit, varnish and woody resins with a lingering dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Not as vibrant on the nose. Ok.

Cask @ Masons Arms, Todmorden. Deep gold with a creamy head. Has a slightly metallic aroma and taste fused with a dull fruitiness. There’s some sweetness.
