Cask gravity at Lewes Beer Fest. It pours lightly hazy golden - amber with a medium bubbly white head. The aroma is rich, earthy, funk, musty, barnyard, ripe fruits, apricot, peach, nectarine and bread. The taste is rather bitter, earthy, left, grassy, barnyard, grass, loads of ripe stone fruit, apricot, peach, nectarine, funk, spice and alcohol kick with a drying finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Rich, earth and plenty of stone fruit. Good depth of flavour. Interesting and enjoyable stuff.
