Opaque color, small off-white head. Strong cocoa, coffee, vanilla and chocolate. Full-bodied. Sweet. Lots of vanilla and cocoa, sweetness covers alcohol quite well. Pleasant dessert beer.

Bottled. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is vanilla, some liquorice and some more vanilla, mild alcohol and some mild toffee. Flavour is liquorice, alcohol, vanilla and some wooden notes. Nicely balanced brew.

Bottle @ DØE meeting courtesy of Camons. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, cacao, lactose and light spicy. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 150317

Bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with a small light beige head. Sweet aroma with lots of cocoa, oat, caramel, dark chocolate and some rum. The flavour is similar but with more coffee and some licorice. Has a slick and silky mouth feel, full-bodied and light bitterness. A sweet IS with much cocoa. Love it.

Better try again...

0.33l bottle, no batch number. It pours a really thick and viscous oily looking body this. Deep and black in color and on the top a really good looking dark chocolate colored creamy hefty lacing head. Delicious sweet and chocolaty aroma. Sweet and slightly cinnamon bun spiced. A lovely aromatic chocolate, dark roasted goodies and a strong vanilla sweetness. A really nice aroma this. Tastes really nice also. It's as expected a thick oily and chewy one in the mouth this, soft prickling on the bubbles. Sweet and dark roasty toasty. Warming in the back of the throat, lots of coconut sweetness also here. 330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A covering filmy, tan-coloured layer to a jet black body. Scattered lacing. Attractive aroma of chocolate and coffee. Roasted vanilla flavours together with chocolate, traces of coconuts and dark fruits. Lingering finish with impact of bitter dark berries. Full bodied and mouth filling. Smooth and warming sipper on a dark Christmas eve (Tromsø 25.12.2016).
