Dark brown, almost black, minimal brown head. Aroma is heavy roasted coffee, maple syrup, praline. Too much coffee for me. Medium bitterness, medium sweetness. Full body, feels heavy. Not my favourite.

Zwart bier met mooie bruine schuimkraag. Smaak is warm, zoet en krachtig met iets van anijs, drop, wat koffie en chocolade. Erg fijn geniet bier.

Draught @ Uiltje Craft Beer Bar, Zijlstraat 18, Haarlem, Netherlands 2011 TN. [ As Uiltje Mind Your Step Maple Edition ].Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, chocolate, malt bitter, maple - sweet maple. Flavor is light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, malt bitter, dark malt, sweet malt, maple, sweet maple, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20180919] 8-3-8-4-16

Bottle picked up from Het Uiltje Taproom, Utrecht, Netherlands consumed at Silver Dawn Cottage, Horning, Norfolk Friday 7th December 2018 in the company of Scott, Mandy & Kids, Mum and Keith . This is so mapley, sticky, roasty and bitter. So thick in the mouth, lots going on. It's great but it's a tad sweet.

Bottle, 0.33l. Thick black pour, thin brown layer on top. Medium lasting, good lacing on the glass. Robust on the nose, roasted malts, touch of coffee, maple syrup, herbal liquor. Shapes up nicely. Full body, soft to medium carbonation. Thick and oily texture, smooth mouthfeel. Very creamy, really good. Roasty bittersweet taste. Rich and robust aroma, strong roasty character, caramel, huge coffee notes. Maple syrup, herbal liquor, touch of coal. Well balanced, I'd never guess the ABV from the taste. It's there, but not overwhelming at all. Nicely warming mouthfeel with subtle liquory notes lingering on the tongue. Finishes long, dry and roasty. Great Imperial Stout. Simply delicious.

Black colored, medium frothy tan head. Aroma is of roasted malt, coffee, bit chocolate, plenty of maple syrup, alcohol. Taste is very sweet, some malt and toffee, mostly maple syrup, sugary, some chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, some alcohol and a warming aftertaste, sweetish finish. Full bodied, soft carbonation, creamy to sticky.

Bottled 330ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Black coloured, medium sized brown head, light coffee, alcohol and whiff of maple in the nose. Roasted malt, coffee, maple syrup and touch of soy sauce with noticable alcohol and maple notes. Decent brew.

Bottle shared at CBC Islington, 17/10/2018. Many thanks. A clear nut brown coloured pour with a halo of loose tan head. Aroma is woody roast, bark, powdered chcoclates, alcohol. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily, brown chocolate, powdered chccolate, light maple, warming alchol, sticky sweet. Palates is medium sweet and sticky, moderate carboantion.

Bottle split at CBC Islington, thanks to Ken, 17/10/18. Black with a good sized tan covering. Nose is charr, spice, dried fruits, burnt brown sugars, toffee. Taste comprises mapre syrup, light coffee bean, chocolate, mellow roast, bitter sweet, brown sugar melt. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent well balanced impy action.
