#14 DIPA continues our experimental series — with juicy, tropical and slightly floral notes. This time around, the brewers wanted to see what a blend of wheat and rice would do for the body and drinkability of the beer, and they succeeded in yet another winner that's easy to sip on.

Can. Orange, citrus, grapefruit and a tropical hint. Lightly perfumed. Not bad, but I prefer less fruit and perfume. 747414 250728

Can 44 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque orangey golden with a lacing, off-white head. Lovely spicy aroma of what appears to be Sabro or Sorachi Ace. Medium body, thick, sweet and fruity with a lowish carbonation and more of the same hop notes as mentioned above. Little bitterness. Almost way too quaffable. 060725

Best before 05/24, from Amstein. Sharing it yesterday with my wife, at Epalinges. It was a solid ipa, full body, smooth, sweet, boozy, warm, note of tropical fruits, bitter, citrus, aromatic and a bit syrupy, good job.

Can from Beerdome. Aroma is soft fruity hop with orange, tropical notes, touch of stone fruit, mango, smooth pale malt. Moderate bitter with a light sweetness. Medium body. Seems to lack some punch at first, but wins me over with smoothness and balance.
