Draft glass @ Billie’s Bier Kafétaria. Black, solid mocha head. Nose is plastic, cacao, mocha chocolate, sweet malty soy sauce with low vanilla / coconut. Taste is cacao, chocolate, basic chocolate, low roast & soy sauce that I got in their other recent stouts as well but less intrusive here, roast, chocolate, sweet soy sauce but over time the chocolate becomes more dominant,… Very thick some soy sauce body. Pleasant & tasty beer but sadly the coconut is nearly lost.

Big light brown bubbly-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, dark malts, toasted coconut, grass, sour coffee, roasted grain, minerals, chocolate, hay, toast, alcohol, hints of banana. Taste is slightly sour-ish mineraly, weeds, sour-ish roasted grain, sour coffee, bark, toasted coconut, cinnamon, grass, chocolate, hay, minerals, dark malts, alcohol. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Fles geprobeerd na thuiskomst van Budapest. Het is een donkere Stout met een redelijke schuimkraag. Het heeft een gebrande licht zoete smaak met hints van koffie. In de nasmaak komt de Cocos duidelijk naar voren.

Dark brown color. Sweet malty Choctaw nose but coconut has largely faded. The mouth is sweet malty, but doesn’t have the pronounced orange flavor of the original. Very smooth though. Good stuff but not mind blowing

33cl Bottle from Uiltje Taproom. Black colour, thick creamy beige head. Aroma of coconut, chocolate, cocoa, roast, coffee. Flavour is medium sweet, plain chocolate, coconut, coffee, vanilla, roasted malts, roast bitter finish. Medium bodied, smooth. Feels a bit unbalanced though.
