(473ml can from Mikkeller Webshop) Pours black with a tiny dark tan head and no lace. Aroma of dark malt, chocolate, dark caramel, soy sauce, touch of black olives, soft acidic roast, cream, touch of dark fruit too, a little booze. Flavour is rather sweet, dark malt, moderate roast, milk chocolate, light dark fruit, umami, bitter toasted grains, soft boozy heat. Finishes semi-dry with light roasty notes, chocolate and caramel, drying alcohol. Medium bodied, very low carbonation, slick. Solid little imperial porter, on the sweet side as expected. Dessert beer even though it's not as confectionery and rich as some.
