ABV: 5.2%. Clear medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, caramel, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, caramel, sugary, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171208]

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2017 - Hackney. Pours clear ruby with a creamy head. The nose holds toasted grains, a little pine and earth. Light to medium sweet flavour with more toasty grains, mellow leafy bitterness, leathery berries, bready malts. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced finish, with earthy bitterness, more toast. Solid ESB.
