This beer was brewed especially for London Craft Beer Festival 2017 at the National Centre of Circus Arts. It's a playful mix of tart berries and cocoa. First up you get black forest gateau, then citrus and pithy grapefruit notes bounce around your taste buds. The sweet, juicy tang - think fruit winders - takes centre-stage with every sip. And just like fruit winders, the enjoyment of this beer grows as the flavours unravel.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Maidenhead Beer Festival 20/10/2017. Ruddy brown in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Leafy hops, sweet berry fruits, brown sugar and slightly sweet malts, with a touch of chocolate, leading to a dryish finish. Fine.

More sourness than I would have expected from a cream ale.

Keg at the earl of Essex. An opaque dark black / plum coloured pour with a a lasting tidy light tan head. Aroma is subdued, tangy red berries, soft milky roast and powdered choc. Flavour is composed of tangy berries, cherry grape, powdered choc, mellow roast. Palate is tangy, mellow sour, highish carbonation. Ok. Interesting idea.
