On tap at Royal Albert, pours a hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out some vegetal notes and grassy hops upfront. Flavour is along the same lines, with herbal and grassy notes dominating. Fairly dry hoppy, herbal finish. Decent.

On tap at Newstead brewpub, Brisbane with fellow Ratebeerian Nateg2 on 6th September 2015. Gold with white, part-lacing foam. Herby, hoppy aroma. Grass and grapefruit in the liquid pass. A sharply citric finish with an intense and lasting grassy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel and a medium body.

This low-carbonated beer has aromas as boiled lollies, lemon, talc and pine needles. The sweet malt comes through in the mouth, but it’s nicely balanced with some slightly bitter hops with a lemon aftertaste. A good pale ale.
