ABV: 4.3%. Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet matl, light bread. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, cookie. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20191011]

Sample from Chappels Beer Festival. Small head with short duration. Color is dark amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, hops, malt, fruits and has a sweet nutty caramel finish.

6/9/2019. Cask at the 33rd Chappel Beer Festival. Pours dark amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, nut, hops and grass. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness to finish.

[Cask at the White Horse, Hedgerley.] A chestnut coloured pour with a ring of white head; malty aroma; sweet nutty malt taste; and a dry finish with a light bitterness. A traditional malty bitter.
