Can from Padstow Brewery online shop. Appearance - cloudy yellow to orange. Thin white lacing. Nose - ripe melon, orange and possibly mango. Taste - creamy melon, red apple and orange zest. Palate - creamy texture, turning into tangy, bitter finish. Overall - good.

18/3/2019. Bottle from Connolly’s Fine Wine and Spirit Merchants, Livery Street. Pours clear pale gold with a fizzy short lasting off-white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, light tropical fruits, pine and light spicy notes. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Ok but a little unrefined.

Bottle from Connolly's Wines, Solihull. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a big frothy white head. The aroma is malt, grassy tropical citrus hop. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a crisp, fresh, dry malt, dry yeasty hop bitter palate and a lingering, somewhat unpleasant, dry bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation.

[ As Padstow Sundowner ].
ABV: 6.8x%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, light pine, light earthy hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, fruity malt, fruity hops, fruity, light citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Level 42 botteshare. Thanks to Colin. Hazy gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and smooth, modest fine carbonation. Mildly sweet pale malts. Smooth floral mid. Mild bubblegum esters. Modest citric pith and peel and a pinch of hop spice. Smooth finish. Okay. could do without the esters.

Bottle shared at level 42 Canary wharf tasting. 11/07/2016. Many thanks to Colin for this one. A hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a a thin white head. Aroma is fruity raw lemon, earthy grainy bready grainy. Flavour is fruity lemon perfume, raw grainy, earthy straw. Palate is dry grains, moderate carbonation. Decent.

Bottle shared in CW - many thanks to Coleen. Pours unclear gold with a bubbly, white head. Odd nose, some rind, faint plastic, ash. Lit sweet flavour with more pleasant citrus, melon, peach, tangerine. Light bodied with fine carbonation. More citrus notes in the finish, pale bread, peach, tangerine. Not bad in the end.

Bottle thanks to Colin. It pours cloudy orange with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, grainy, stone fruits, light solvent, grainy and marmalade. The taste is smooth, mellow, apricot, orange muffin, peach, marmalade and minerals with a shirt finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Not too bad, drinks easy.
