Bottle at Level 42 tasting, from the bottle shop place in Falmouth, 11/07/16. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white swirl. Nose is orange peel, melon, soft bread, sraw. Taste comprises orange peel, tangerine, straw, melon, toasted grain, bready, vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Drinkable number but low end for style, and bloody pricey for it at that when compared to Kernel and the UK leading members of said genre (think 20% more cost).

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Tucker’s Maltings Beer Festival, 15/4/2016. Golden in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Aroma of pineapple, apricot and citrus hops. Flavour of biscuity malts and more fruits, with a hint of marmalade sweetness leading to a dryish finish. A good English IPA.

1 Pint bottle from John’s Beer & Wine, St Ives. Pours clear gold with a thin bubbly lace head, with a fresh cask-pulled appearance and mouthfeel. Aroma is light citrus zest. Taste is light and quaffable with smooth citra hops and a creamy walnut finish. A good first-impression from this brewery.
