Fyldig, alkoholisk og vinøs med fatlagringpreg og noe rom. Baki der ligger det en god del mørk malt, men selv den klarer ikke mer enn å spille andrefiolin i dette ølet. Bra lagringspotensiale

Aus der Flasche (Vintage 2017?) im 2020-11 getrunken. Dieses Imperial Milk Stout kommt mit kräftigen Körper und recht süsslich daher. Eben wie ein typisches Jule Mælk das viel Spaß ins Glas bringt. Aber der Einfluss der in Rum getränkten Eichenchips macht das IStout nur etwas bitterer durch den deutlichen Holzeinfluss. Der Rum selbst ziegt sich leider gar nicht.

Bottle with the RateBeer München Tasting group, courtesy of Dave, cheers Dave! We had this Wednesday 1st July 2020. Pours black with a a light tan head. This is a huge beer, absolutely ballistic. The massive stout completely stands up to the rum barrel ageing, so, so, rich, camp coffee, (it's a UK thing) what a beautiful beer, I really don't think that I have had many decent rum barrel aged beers this has completely changed my view.

Tap. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aromas of sweet rum, fudge, vanilla, dates, raisins, booze. Taste has milky sweet notes, burned wood, ash, sweet rum, spice, vanilla.

Tap @ Murphy’s Law. Black. Rhum and chocolate in the aroma. Hint of raisin. Full bodied, thick. Roast, chocolate, dried fruit and a hint of oak. Tasty, well hidden alcohol. Low on carbon. Good!

On tap at Mikkeller Warsaw. Black pour with a frothy and irregular tan cap leaving crazy drafts. Nose: pretty much alcohol-spirit punches the nose at first, some dried fruit, unrefined cane sugar. Mouth: sweet cherry chocolate palate, sweet red fruitiness perceives is a bit over the top imo. Ok

Black with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some bittersweet dark malts and brown sugar. Lots of boozy rum sweetness. Rich and warming.

Min siste plankestabel på aldri så lenge hos Brewer's Inc, 29.11.18, og en fin avslutning og oppsummering: brunsvart med flott skum som varer hele veien ned. Engelsk lakrids (tenk Bassetts), bjørnebær, chokoladekage og andre lekkerier. Alkoburn er forbilledlig i baghaven, hvor også mersmagen er tydeligt tilstede.
