Vintage unknown, but the bottle is at least a few years old. Pours a pitch black body and a dense brown head with pretty good retention. Aroma's: maple syrup from the bottle. From the glass: roasted malts, umami, booze, cocoa, wood. Retronasal it's sweetish, chocolate, bourbon, light wood. Flavour is quite sweet, maple, cocoa powder/milk chocolate. Medium bodied. Finishes with cocoa/chocolate and light roasty bitterness. Sweet but very nice.
From backlog. Taster, from Bottle, in The park outside Mikkeller & friends, Copenhagen. Black with little brown head. Roasted Malts, coffee, maple, sweetness,

(Draught at Biererei, Berlin, 22 Apr 2023. 10.5%) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with espresso, treacle, wood, maple syrup and cacao. Malty, roasted, sweet taste with notes of sweet espresso, wood, maple syrup, burnt sugar, treacle, bourbon, vanilla and a gentle roasty bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Rich and powerful, still mellow and gentle. Excellent balance. Great beer!

Shared with Ronnemos1. Pours black with a small beige head. Slightly roasted with lots of vanilla, maple and chocolate sweetness. Smooth and soft. Had hoped for a roastier edge which is to my liking but a fine sweet dessert impy for sure.

On tap at Lucille. Pours black with a light brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has creamy pecan and sweet grains with a bit of sweet dark grain and roast supporting. Flavor has bourbon and bitter pecan supported by dark grains and a bit of roast.
