Vuonna 1899 19-vuotias kauppa-apulainen ja räätäli Iisakki Luhtala päätti vaimonsa Marian kanssa palkata ensimmäisen ulkopuolisen työntekijän lakkivalmistukseensa mukaan, Näin sai alkunsa historiallisen Kurikan Lakkitehtaan tarina ❤️.
Kurikan Lakkitehtaan panimon Iisakki -olut on hyvällä tavalla kotikaljamainen ja aavistuksen toffeen, rusinan sekä luumun makuinen dubbel -tyyppinen olut. Väriltään se on kuohuva Nenättömänluoman kuparinhehkuinen vesi kermanvalkoisine vaahtopäineen. Iisakki -olut on päähänmenevä hatunnosto sitkeydelle, visionääreille, kovalle työlle, rohkeudelle ja luovalle hulluudelle.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Clear amberish brown, rich head. Doughy nose with red berries and hay. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Doughy with hay and herbal notes. Spicy mid bitter finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours amber with a slight haze and a small, off-white head. Caramelly nose with a hint of Belgian yeast. Medium body, sweet caramelly and some dark, dried fruits and a hint of licorice. Subdued bitterness, Quite tasty in spite of the low ABV for the style. 300426

0,33l bottle from the brewery. Bbe 12-03-2026. Clear amber beer with medium head. Aroma is caramel malts, bread, kotikalja. Flavor is roasted malts, caramel, kotikalja, rye. Tasty and rich on flavours, medium+ body. Good, surely the best of those Kurikka beers I've tasted so far.

Smell of malt, hay, faint mämmi. Dark honey colour, white head. Aroma of sweet malt, dried fruit, hay, some brown sugar. Lively carbon. Sweet, medium bitter.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 20.02.2025 From K-Supermarket Jalasjärvi. Aroma has sweet malt, toffee and kotikalja. Flavour has some kotikalja notes, roasted malt, toffee. Clean and actually faithful to the style but somewhat bland. Gets more rich when it warms up. Definitely a positive surprise and best from Kurikka so far.
