Table Beer, je dis oui, Psycho, beaucoup moins. Nous sommes ici plutôt sur une bière à boire tranquillement avec une bonne pizza. Parée d'une amertume relativement minérale, saillante mais ne faisant pas forcément ses 60 d'IBU, l'accompagnement aromatique est somme toute limité, tout comme la corpulence ou la longueur. Mais pour 4 % d'alcool, il ne faut tout de même pas trop en demander. En verre, nous somme sur un blond limpide avec une très fine mousse blanche. Le nez est sur cette amertume minérale avec des arômes de pomme, de poire, et de fines épices, l'ensemble étant appréciable. A la dégustation, l'accompagnement aromatique est plus limité avec sur l'attaque un léger poivre qui vient accompagner une amertume d'une bonne intensité. La deuxième bouche est une peu plus ample avec arômes de pomme et poire. L’arrière-bouche manque de tranchant étrangement, très proche de la seconde bouche. Le final est tout de même plus vif, sur une amertume sèche simple qui reste en bouche. Honorable et appréciable, mais pas une bière de ouf !

Bottle from Belbiere. Piwo ma odjazdowa Rockowa etykiete i tu w porownaniu do Australijskiego piwa ktore niby mialo byc w stylu brytyjskim, tio tu Belgowie zrobili to o wiele lepiej. Bitterek jest wnet Ordynarny, wulgarnie chmielny, zywiczny gozki, Lekko metny ale i tak jasny z niewielka piana tak jak powinno byc w Brytyjkich ESB. Mocno zalatuje zywica, w smaku gorycz mocna i wyraznie sie utrwala w przelyku.

On keg at Brewdog Lothian Rd, Edinburgh. Appearance - amber with some head. Nose - citrus, toffee and elusive biscuit. Taste - more of the same really. Palate - light bodied and a bit thin. Dry and refreshing. Overall - solid enough.
